10/16 Reminders
Tomorrow is PSAT/Field Day in the morning, so make sure you report to the proper place (auditorium for field day, various classrooms for PSAT--see library windows for your room). As of right now, you should be working on your One-Pager. However, the due date may be moved to Monday (since I won't be seeing morning classes again until Friday). If that happens, it will not be put on this 9 weeks' grade. Either way, make sure you do your best on the CBA type test with the substitute on Thursday (because that one WILL be on this 9 weeks), and on the One-Pager (whenever it is due b/c it will still be a summative!) Notebooks are due for the first time this week, so make sure you have them together. What is together? Numbered, table of contents numbered and filled in, and all work taped/glued in on appropriate pages. What pages are being graded? 1-17! If papers fall out, I won't grade them, so make sure they are in there securely! 1st and 2nd period will turn them in on Tuesday, 3rd and 4th on Wednesday, and 6th and 7th on Thursday. Don't forget the first Super STAAR Academy is this Saturday, 1/14/12. It starts at 9 and goes until 12:30. You can leave early if needed, but you must be on time to get in. Go to student entrance by the commons to get in, and happy test prepping!

Don't forget to do the Vocab worksheet I gave y'all today (about breakdancing). It is due tomorrow at the beginning of class on Tuesday!
IANS due this week
The first interactive notebook check of the semester is this week. Same schedule as always (1/3 on Tuesday, 4/5 on Wednesday, 6/7 on Thursday). Make sure the table of contents is filled in!
