SUPER IMPORTANT (and LAST) REMINDER OF THE YEAR (5/29)

YOUR FINAL PROJECTS ARE DUE TOMORROW (Thursday, 5/30)!! Remember that these are your final in the class (and you should have one on character and one on plot), so get them done and bring them in!!!!! Good luck! Can't wait to see them!!!!

Make sure you get Act 2, Sc 3 done on your storyboard tonight. Also, IANs are due this week: pp. 114-118 on your normal days (although you can turn in early if you REALLY want to, haha!) See you tomorrow, minions!

Homework tonight is to do questions 1-6 on p. 830 (Act 1 questions).  You can put them on p. 113-IAN.  Also, don't forget that you have a quiz over Act 1 tomorrow, and it is a summative grade!!!  Have a great night, minions!  <3

Finish the crossword and the word scramble (or search if that is what your class got).  3rd and 4th periods, your notebooks are due tomorrow; 6th and 7th you are up on Thursday!

Your English I STAAR exams are tomorrow (writing) and Tuesday (reading), in case you had forgotten.  ;)   So, here are some last minute words of advice.

Remember to eliminate answers that can't be the answer for multiple choice questions, to pace yourself with essays (alternate with multiple choice to avoid fatigue!), to roughly sketch out plans for your essays so you don't end up stuck not knowing where to go (and don't forget strong thesis statements and good examples with expository essays and a plot that has resolution and engaging characters in your stories on literary essays), that OERs use textual evidence (and are on Tuesday's test), to read all selections and questions thoroughly to avoid missing key words and ideas, and most importantly...BREATHE!

I believe in you, minions, so believe in yourselves!  <3

Homework 3/7

Make sure you have 6 of the Bully Follow Up questions done for class tomorrow.  We will finish the last two and discuss all of them in class tomorrow.  One more day, minions!  :)

Super Important Reminders, 2/25

First, make sure you finished all the quickwrites on pp. 94-95 so we can actually do our Philosophical Chairs tomorrow! Also, IANs are due this week. First and second period, y'all are due tomorrow. Third and fourth, y'all are on Wednesday. And sixth and seventh, you know what to do Thursday. You should have all work on pp. 84-95 done! Looking forward to tomorrow, so get all the writing done! :)
