ONE PAGER DUE DATE POSTPONED TO MONDAY!

In the interest of doing better on the summative grade and making sure you REALLY get it (and since I am not going to be at school tomorrow to help), I am moving the due date to MONDAY for the one pagers.  That means tomorrow's 9-Week Exam is your last grade of the 9 weeks!!  Make sure you try hard and get your rough drafts together so I can give you guidance on them Friday!  I hope this helps, and good luck on the test...CARPE DIEM!!!

10/16 Reminders

Tomorrow is PSAT/Field Day in the morning, so make sure you report to the proper place (auditorium for field day, various classrooms for PSAT--see library windows for your room).  As of right now, you should be working on your One-Pager.  However, the due date may be moved to Monday (since I won't be seeing morning classes again until Friday).  If that happens, it will not be put on this 9 weeks' grade.  Either way, make sure you do your best on the CBA type test with the substitute on Thursday (because that one WILL be on this 9 weeks), and on the One-Pager (whenever it is due b/c it will still be a summative!)  That is all for now!  :D

Homework tonight is to cut and paste the plot parts for "Harrison Bergeron" onto the provided plot map.  Make sure you do it, please!!  And don't forget notebooks are due this week (1/2 late credit tomorrow, 3/4 tomorrow, 6/7 Thursday)!

2-VOICE POEMS DUE TOMORROW!

I wanted to remind you to practice tonight.  Presentations start right away at the beginning of class, so be ready!  :)

"Homework" 10/2 and other news...

Two-voice poems will be presented Thursday (remember these are big summative scores), so tonight keep brainstorming ideas to share with your partner tomorrow (which is the last day to get it complete w/your partner).  Let's finish this story and move on to "Harrison Bergeron"!  :)
