Homework 9/28

Don't forget to create a symbol to represent Zaroff and one represent Rainsford (p.24-IAN)  Keep in mind, you are giving a picture to show character traits, not pictures of the characters themselves.  Also, if you are trying to have more time to work with your partner on the actual two voice poems on Monday, you can be working on your character charts this weekend!  :D

IMPACT AID FORMS REMINDER!!

Homework 9/19

Make sure you finish identifying the parts of the plot (exposition, inciting incident, rising actions, climax, falling actions, and resolution).  Also write where the conflicts take place, and what kind they are (ex:  external/man vs. nature).  We are on the downhill slope to the weekend!  :)

Homework 9/18

Oops.  I was doing so much grading last night, I forgot to remind you to finish the plot sequence activity!  You should have them all glued or taped down in time for class.  I will be in there this morning if you need to come in!  And don't forget notebooks are due for 3rd and 4th period today!  (6th and 7th due tomorrow, 1st and 2nd, y'all's are done!)

Interactive Notebooks due this week and HW (9/17)

Notebooks are due for the first time this week, so make sure you have them together.  What is together?  Numbered, table of contents numbered and filled in, and all work taped/glued in on appropriate pages.  What pages are being graded?  1-17!  If papers fall out, I won't grade them, so make sure they are in there securely!  1st and 2nd period will turn them in on Tuesday, 3rd and 4th on Wednesday, and 6th and 7th on Thursday.  Have them put together, PLEASE!

Also, if you haven't finished all 18 plot panels for "The Most Dangerous Game." Make sure each panel has both pics and quotes from the story!

"Homework" 9/14

You should have 14 panels completed (including the four from class today) on Monday when you come to class.  We are almost done with the story, so make sure you are all caught up!  (In case you have forgotten, the last event we read in class today was Rainsford getting Zaroff with a Malay Mancatcher!)  Have a great weekend, kiddos!

You need to do the next 5 panels (or boxes) for the plot events in "The Most Dangerous Game."  You should have a piece (quote) from the story and a picture of what is going on.  Can you believe tomorrow if Friday again already?
