Important "Stuff" 8/31

Just a reminder that you NEED your composition notebooks for class on Tuesday and you should be working on the final drafts of your mandalas.  The final drafts will be a summative grade and will be due on Wednesday at the BEGINNING of class.  Make sure you bring your symbol notes, quickwrites, the blue worksheet (#5.1a-b), and mandala rough drafts Tuesday so we can put them on their pages in your notebooks.  Have a great weekend, and see you next Tuesday!  :)

Homework 8/30/12

Tonight's homework is "The Symbols of My Life" chart (on the back of the blue "What is a Mandala?" paper).  Make sure you have 10 in each column.  Remember, it might be easier to brainstorm the first column, then the third column, then the second column.  Happy thinking!  :D

Homework 8/29/12

Be sure to summarize today's notes about symbols and signs on the bottom of your Cornell notes.  Remember a summary should be 3-5 sentence and include main details.  I will check at the beginning of class, so make sure you are prepared!  :)
